New York Jets

The Peyton Manning rumors began flying early, and the Jets were among the earliest suitors. ESPN New York's Rich Cimini weighs some of the pros and cons that could come with Manning in green, listing just seven "pros" and 11 "cons."

At least one person, B/R featured columnist Alex Kay, thinks it could spell the end for quarterback Mark Sanchez. The Jets' pursuit of Peyton could do some damage to Sanchez's psyche.

New England Patriots

The Patriots need a wide receiver, but not just any receiver will do. B/R correspondent Samer Ismail has thoughts on why wide receiver Mike Wallace isn't a fit for the Patriots.

ESPN Boston's Mike Reiss has a great look at some free-agent fits at running back, and notes that one of the biggest questions is how far the team is willing to go to retain running back BenJarvus Green-Ellis.

Miami Dolphins

Of course, the Jets aren't the only ones that want in on the Manning sweepstakes, and the Dolphins have long been called the front-runners. With rumors that Reggie Wayne would like to follow Manning where he lands, B/R featured columnist Michael Dixon points out that the Dolphins might have to clear up some cap space to make that work.

South Florida Sun-Sentinel columnist Omar Kelly gives his thoughts on a sales pitch that could bring Peyton Manning to Miami. Hot weather and hotter women is enough for me, but Manning is a married man, thus having different priorities.
