WrestleMania 28: Early Predictions for WWE's Biggest Event
With WrestleMania less than a month away, there has already been a ton of speculation with regards to how the biggest event in wrestling will play out. With four main-event-caliber matches already in place, this promises to be one of the most entertaining and unpredictable WrestleManias in recent memory.
While there are already tons of predictions out there with regards to who will win each match, there hasn't been much talk regarding exactly how some of the matches will play out. There are so many possibilities for each match, and there are certainly no sure things at this point.
Here are some early bold predictions for what will take place on April 1.

Triple H Will Prevent Shawn Michaels' Interference
With Shawn Michaels having been announced as the special guest referee for the Hell in a Cell match between Triple H and The Undertaker at WrestleMania, things have gotten even more intriguing than they already were. The tension between Triple H and Michaels started a few weeks ago when Triple H refused to face The Undertaker despite Michaels' pleas. Hunter eventually accepted, however, as The Undertaker suggested that Michaels was always better than Hunter.
This led to a confrontation between Michaels and Triple H on Monday in which HBK suggested that Triple H was bothered by the perception that Michaels is better. With all of that said, it's quite obvious that Michaels is going to have a major impact on how the match plays out, and he certainly won't be an impartial observer.
With the way things are going now, the creative team seems to be planting the seed for Michaels to screw over Hunter. Ultimately, however, I believe that Michaels will set up to super-kick Undertaker, but Triple H will intervene. This will result in Undertaker tombstoning Hunter and Michaels reluctantly making the count. It would extend Undertaker's streak to 20-0 and make Triple H look valiant in defeat for refusing help.
John Cena Will Win; The Rock Will Refuse Handshake
There are so many moving parts in the John Cena vs. The Rock feud right now that it's almost impossible to accurately predict how it might play out. In one respect, it would make sense for Cena to go over The Rock, a la The Rock beating Hulk Hogan previously as a way to push the younger talent over the old veteran.
At the same time, though, giving The Rock a win in his hometown of Miami would be an incredible moment.
Even with all of the talk about how The Rock wouldn't come back to put Cena over, I'm leaning toward Cena coming out on top. After the win in what is sure to be a match for the ages, Cena will go for the handshake, which would effectively end the feud and bury the hatchet between Cena and The Rock. Unlike when The Rock beat Hogan, however, The Rock won't accept Cena's gesture.
If The Rock wins the match, then I could see Cena doing the same, although I believe it's more likely that Cena wins and The Rock refuses the handshake because Cena probably wouldn't do something bordering on a heel tactic. Whatever the case, I don't anticipate WrestleMania being the end of the feud, so The Rock's snub will set up another match, perhaps for SummerSlam.
Shaquille O'Neal Will Interfere in Cody Rhodes vs. Big Show Match
Despite repeated hints that he would be competing at WrestleMania, it has been said that NBA legend Shaquille O'Neal will not be a part of the show. The overwhelming sentiment was that he would face Big Show since the two giants had a run-in on Raw a couple years ago. Now, Big Show is tied up with Cody Rhodes in a match for the Intercontinental Championship, though.
An interesting thing to note is that Rhodes has repeatedly shown clips of some of Big Show's embarrassing losses at WrestleMania. Chief among them were losses to sumo wrestler Akebono and boxer Floyd Mayweather. Since Rhodes has been harping on his losses to celebrities, I have a feeling that Shaq will still get involved somehow.
The event is in Miami where Shaq won a championship with the Heat, and he is a huge WWE fan, so there is a good chance that he'll be there. It's certainly a possibility that Shaq could stop Rhodes from cheating and assist Big Show in winning the title. While Rhodes losing isn't what most want to see, an appearance from Shaq would make it well worth it, and it would free up Rhodes to chase the World Heavyweight Championship should Sheamus win it.
