It’s not too early to begin determining the top athletes that will compose the 2013 recruiting class. Fox Sports National Recruiting Analyst Brandon Huffman issues an inside look at the top five players in the country while shedding light on which school each recruit is considering.

Huffman’s list includes defensive end Robert Nkemdiche from Grayson High School in Loganville, Georgia. Nkemdiche is listed as a 5-star recruit, with some analysts drawing comparisons to Hall of Famer Lawrence Taylor.

Ohio State commit Jalin Marshall comes in at second on Huffman’s list—an all-around athlete who’s starred at quarterback for Middletown High School in Ohio, but will likely line up at wide receiver for the Buckeyes.

Reuben Foster (Troupe HS – Lagrange, GA), Tyrone Swoops (Whitewright HS, Whitewright, TX) and Su’a Cravens (Vista Murrieta HS, Murrieta, CA) round out the top five in this week’s list of top-five recruits for the 2013 class.

Hear what Huffman has to say about the three stars and their likely landing spot in a year-and-a-half from now.
