Report: Randy Moss to Work out for New Orleans Saints
The New Orleans Saints, apparently scrambling to address the possibility of losing both wide receivers Marques Colston and Robert Meachem in free agency after being forced to apply the franchise tag to quarterback Drew Brees, will work out 35-year-old wide receiver Randy Moss on Tuesday, according to a report by Peter Schrager of FOX Sports.
Moss, who last played in the NFL in 2010 when he split time between the New England Patriots, Minnesota Vikings and Tennessee Titans, sat out all of 2011 but recently stated he wanted to make a comeback in the NFL, telling the Sporting News:
The timing of this visit is more than a bit curious given Randy Moss's reputation on and off the field and the current "player bounty" scandal engulfing the Saints, but the fact of the matter is the team may well end up with a huge hole in the receiving corps.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Randy Moss was once the best wide receiver in football with nearly 15,000 career receiving yards, and if Moss has anything at all left in the tank, it's at least worth kicking the tires.
No one knows if Randy Moss can still play, and even if he can there's no guarantee that the New Orleans Saints would risk the baggage that comes along with signing him. But if nothing else an already surreal scene at the Superdome just got a little bit weirder.
