Burns vs. Moses: Preview, Start Time, Live Streaming and Schedule
Just over one month after he was officially crowned the WBO lightweight champion, Ricky Burns will defend the title for the first time against Paulus Moses in Scotland.
Burns was essentially just given the championship after Juan Manuel Marquez decided to take his talents to a higher weight class. He won the interim title against Michael Katsidis last November and will be fighting in front of a hometown crowd.
Moses is coming into this fight on a three-fight winning streak and a 26-1-1 career record. He is an electric boxer who knows how to hone in on an opponent's weakness.

Burns' Keys To Victory
Defend the speed and power in Moses' punches, and take the fight into the later rounds.
Burns is not going to be able to match Moses' power. If he tries to turn this into a slugging contest, he is going to hit the mat in the first round.
His best weapon is going to be his ability to defend himself, and in doing so, he can force Moses to wear himself out as the fight moves into the later rounds. The longer this fight goes, the more advantage he has.
Moses' Keys to Victory
Attack with the speed and use the left hand to knockout Burns.
Moses' greatest weapon in the ring is his left hand. He is a fierce striker who can knock anyone out with one good shot.
In addition to his power, Moses is as fast as anyone in the lightweight division. He can move in and out before you know what has hit you.
As long as he is crisp and precise with his strikes, Moses has a great shot to walk out of Scotland with a championship.
What They Are Saying
Burns has taken an interesting approach to this fight. He told BBC Sports that he is just focusing on what he can do and leaving all of the scouting to his trainer.
"I've still not watched any footage of him, I've left that to my trainer. When you watch your opponent you tend to look at what they're good at, which can throw you off.
I like to concentrate on what I'm going to do in the fight, so I go in there with a clear mind.
We know he's a good boxer, we know he's got a big right hand - but I've been in the ring with big punchers before and proved I can take a shot so with this fight we'll just go out and take it from the first round.
"
Prediction
In a classic battle between stamina and power, Moses is going to have the advantage early. He has to end it before the eighth round, or else Burns is going to have the momentum.
