1. Baltimore Ravens @ Tennessee

The Ravens take a seat only to the Steelers as far as team defense was concerned this season having allowed only 261 yards per game and slightly over 15 points per game. The domination continued last week as they held the Dolphins to only nine points.

The Titans were fairly average on offense this year although they did put together a heck of a running platoon in Chris Johnson and LenDale White. Unfortunately for them, that is the Ravens' strong suit. Look for a pretty dominant performance from the Ravens once again.

2. Tennessee Titans vs. Baltimore

This game has the makings of a defensive battle which is good news if you own the Titans this week. The Titans held their opponents to less than 15 points per game on the season and look to continue that trend against the Ravens.

The key to it will be being able to stop the Ravens rushing attack which has become solid with Le'Ron McClain at the helm.

Either way, Tennessee is one of the better plays this week and will be involved in a very classic playoff game.

3. Pittsburgh Steelers vs. San Diego

Pittsburgh dominated during the regular season, easily ranking No. 1 in overall defense, allowing only 237 total yards per game and just under 14 points per game. Both easily topping the charts.

This week, they take on a San Diego offense which is very solid but will most likely be relying on Darren Sproles as LaDainian Tomlinson will most likely be sidelined because of a very painful injury which will make most men grimace in pain. The Steelers are all about D and that is what they will do once again.

4. New York Giants vs. Philadelphia

The first three teams are the teams that you want to try and place into your lineup this week, but if you can't afford them than the Giants are the next best thing. They can do it all, defend the pass, defend the run and gave up just slightly more than 18 points per game this past season to opponents.

Philadelphia was a top-10 offense this year scoring at a 26 points per game clip so there is reason for concern here. But as we said before, the Giants are the best of the rest.

5. Philadelphia Eagles @ New York Giants

If you don't own the top-three and you can't get your hands on the Giants either, the only other rational choice are the Eagles as after this the picks really start to stink it up!

The Eagles are one of the best defenses in the game, but the Giants offense is one of the best in the game as well.

If you want to risk it and gamble some, the Eagles have a shot at doing fairly well. But they are not a defense that you can bank on this week, that is for sure.

6. San Diego Chargers @ Pittsburgh

When people think of the Steelers they think of their dominating defense. What people sometimes forget is that their offense isn't half-bad either. They should be able to give the Chargers defense a lot of fits during this game, making fans want to scream at their T.V.'s, "Can Shawne Merriman play?"

The Chargers are the beginning of defenses that you want to avoid playing this week. Your only hope for them having a solid game is if Willie Parker goes out due to injury early.

7. Carolina Panthers vs. Arizona

In all actuality, the Panthers are probably the sixth best defense playing during this round of the playoffs but they are facing a Arizona team that was hot on offense all year long and scored another 30 points against the Falcons last week during the first round of the playoffs.

Expect another high-scoring affair from both teams, which is why it is very advisable to avoid playing the Panthers.

8. Arizona Cardinals  @ Carolina

Here is a disturbing number for you, 26.6. What does that number represent? The amount of points per game that the Arizona defense allowed in the regular season. If you were thinking that that would change during the playoffs, think again!

They allowed 24 points to Atlanta during the Wild Card week.

The bad thing for the Cardinals' is that their rush defense is fairly mediocre and they will be facing the hottest running back in the game in DeAngelo Williams. If you are looking for a defense to play this week, Arizona is not it.
