UNC vs. Duke Predictions: Cameron Crazies Will Push Blue Devils to Season Sweep

If North Carolina fell apart against Duke when the two teams played at the Dean Dome, imagine what's going to happen when the two teams square off on Duke's campus. 

If you don't know, I would be happy to fill you in, but I think these guys can tell the story better than I ever could. 

The Cameron Crazies give Duke one of the best home-field/home-court advantages in all of sports. After watching veteran players like Tyler Zeller completely fall apart when the two teams played in UNC's home, there's no reason to believe that it will be any better at Cameron. 

It won't be, Duke is going to take this game, and if they get off to a good start, it could well be a blowout. 

This Carolina team just does not have the stomach that the Tyler Hansbrough teams from 2006-2009 had. Those teams didn't only win on Duke's campus, but they did so every time they stepped foot there.  

This group has different memories, and the Crazies will be sure they're not forgotten. This is a team that's minus-two at Cameron. This group still has the memory of blowing a game down the stretch at home at home.

More than just that, the Tar Heels and Blue Devils played that game completely in reverse from what you'd expect in a basketball game. 

Home teams are the ones that are supposed to shoot better. Yet when UNC played in front of their faithful, they were a measly 1-6 from three-point range, while Duke was 14-36. Both in terms of raw numbers and percentages, that can't happen to an experienced home team. 

It was North Carolina that led for nearly the whole game, blowing leads down the stretch. Again, you can get away with that on the road, nerves are bound to happen. At home, that's unacceptable. 

On Saturday, the Blue Devils will be in their element while the Crazies will do everything to be sure that North Carolina is not. As a result, Duke will keep its home-court supremacy over North Carolina in order. 

Prediction: Duke 81, UNC 77
