Kane made an appearance during the match, which led to him choke slamming Orton and Bryan escaping the match without incident.
If this is indeed the start to another feud which will end in a WrestleMania match, then I am on board. This may not sound like a great feud on paper, but look at the potential.
Kane and Orton have fought before, but they have not had a major feud where they were at each other's throats for weeks leading up to a big PPV match.
Kane has looked better than he has in years since he returned with the mask, and his feud with John Cena showed that he still has some tricks up his sleeve in terms of promos and storyline progression.
Orton is not currently pursuing the World Title, so it makes sense to pair him up with another big name heading into the event.
To see WWE putting this much weight behind Kane is great because he has been used poorly in the past. He has never been pushed the way he deserves, and it has always bothered me.
Having Kane become a more major player in WWE is a smart move since he could have a couple years left in him, whereas Undertaker is doing one match per year at this point.
Orton, on the other hand, needs this feud more than anyone. Ever since his feud with Barrett took a backseat to other SmackDown feuds, he has been sort of stagnant.
His time off for injury was probably good for him in regards to making sure he was as healthy as possible for 'Mania, but now that he is back he needs a good feud, and Kane is a good option.
They have some history, but not a lot, and they are really the only two huge names left in WWE who are not already on the WM card to begin with.
If the Money in the Bank match is not happening, then Orton is likely going to go into a feud with Kane leading up to 'Mania.
What do you think of the possibility of Kane vs. Orton at WrestleMania?
