Klitschko vs. Mormeck: Wladimir Klitschko Will Easily Win Via Knockout
When WBA (Super), WBO, IBF, IBO & The Ring Heavyweight Champion Wladimir Klitschko takes on journeyman Jean-Marc Gilbert Mormeck of France in Düsseldorf, Nordrhein-Westfalen, Germany this Saturday, March 3, the fight will end in a knockout.
Klitschko will knockout Mormeck to tally his 50th KO of his career.
While many fans have criticized the Klitschkos for the way they have avoided major talent, it's hard to argue who else they could have fought. Just like Mormeck on Saturday, everyone wants to fight either of the brothers, but continues to get knocked out.
Their dominance should not be criticized.
As much as people want to say that Wladimir is not fighting the best in the world, he is fighting those that are willing to fight him. The brothers are having trouble finding the men with the courage to fight and that’s why Mormeck at least deserves some credit.
Mormeck told Boxing Scene about his view of Klitschko and his weaknesses:
"Klitschko has something that I want and I need to smash his face in order to get it. I know that he is not happy getting hit. I've already said it and mean it—he has a glass jaw.
"
Now that we’ve given him credit for being brazen about the whole fight, we can now try to understand why the 39-year-old fighter would tease fate like this.
Klitschko is a knockout artist and Mormeck is poking the lion. Eventually, the lion will bite back.
Klitschko told Boxing Scene with confidence about how he sees the fight ending:
"I'm going to try to protect my glass chin. Best of all by looking at him knocked out. He's in top form and will move around the ring a lot. He's not as laidback as he looks.
"
In typical Klitschko fashion, he remained professional the entire time, but took his jabs at his opponent as well. That’s one part of both Klitschko brothers' game that people underestimate; their mental superiority. They know how to get in the opposition’s head.
With plenty of time to rest and train since his last fight with David Haye, Wladimir is ready to get his 50th knockout in glorious fashion.
