Tiger Woods' SEAL Team & A-Rod in the Urinal BR5: 2/29

BR5Feb 29, 2012

Welcome to BR5—your source for sports and pop culture news.

Today's episode of BR5 gets you up-to-date on everything from Dancing with the Stars to A-Rod in the bathroom.

What do Donald Driver and Martina Navratilova have in common? Sure, they’re both champions and world class athletes—but more important is that they’ll both be on the upcoming season of Dancing With The Stars. The four-time former Pro Bowler will follow in the fancy footsteps of NFL legends Emmitt Smith, Jerry Rice and Warren Sapp. I guess Aaron Rodgers. BJ Raji and Clay Matthews were unavailable or just unwilling to embarrass themselves on national TV. Driver was never much of an end-zone dancer with the Packers, so he might want to steal a couple of moves from Victor Cruz’s playbook for this next chapter of his career.

The Yankees are the richest team in baseball and A-Rod is pretty much the richest Yankee, so where's the ideal place to take his team photo? Right by the urinals, of course. For some reason, one of the photographers set up shop for the players' Spring Training snapshots in the men's room, with an iPhone. We would like to point out that A-Rod did take some pics staring erotically at himself in a mirror.

Tiger Woods, the Navy SEAL? According to his old coach, that almost really happened. Tiger's military dream is just the first of many mind-blowing revelations from Hank Haney's soon to be released tell-all about Woods. Haney says Woods planned to take some time off during the peak of his career so that he could take a whack at becoming a Navy SEAL.

Chris Bosh aka the Ringo Starr of the Miami Heat needs your support, but he also may need some tissues. Just when Bosh and the Heat thought they put that whole crying after the game thing behind them, rap artist Nicki Minaj came and tore the band-aid off. Just in time for the second half of the season, Minaj released a song called "Roman Reloaded" taking Bosh to task.

Twitter has become a safe place to give updates to friends, start rap feuds and even post your genital pictures. But one thing it's not safe for is tweeting while you're racing a freaking stock car. That is, unless you're Nascar driver Brad Keselowski, who started the trend at the Daytona 500. While the 28-year-old driver wasn't technically racing when he started tweeting, he was on the track during a break in action, documenting the chaos and crashes, managing to triple his followers in the process.
