Breaking Down Best Destinations for Biggest Names in QB Carousel
Robert Griffin III made the quarterback hunt in this year's NFL draft a lot more interesting with his performance in the 2012 scouting combine.
Interesting won't supplant Andrew Luck as the top prospect, though, but the Heisman Trophy winner will now be the No. 2 pick in the draft.
One of the QB-needy teams is going to pay a king's ransom to land the rights to the St. Louis Rams' pick and it will likely happen after they miss out on the likes of Peyton Manning.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
There are five big-name quarterbacks and a number of teams in need.
How will it all play out?
We'll find out soon enough.
Peyton Manning
Best Destination: Miami Dolphins
Peyton doesn't care about money, not at all, the only thing on his mind (other than getting healthy) is how he can compete for a title.
The Jets and Cardinals are two teams interested, but they already have young quarterbacks in play. They may be players in the market, but it is Washington, Miami and Seattle who have the biggest needs.
The Dolphins are the one team most ready to compete immediately. They have an improving ground game, a top 10 draft choice, a two-headed running game, a legitimate No. 1 receiver and solid all-around defense.
Their only hiccup is a tough division and a new head coach, but heading South to Miami gives No. 18 the best chance at success outside of a freak team coming in later.
Andrew Luck
Best Destination: Indianapolis Colts
Luck wants to take over immediately and the Colts are in a complete rebuilding mode.
The only minor complication is the decision on what to do with Peyton, but in reality there is simply no way the Colts are paying a $28 million.
If the Colts pass up Luck and take RG3 instead it will ultimately be a mistake.
Robert Griffin III
Best Destination: Cleveland Browns
At No. 2 overall it will take a lot for a team to get up for the Heisman Trophy winner, but somebody's hand will be forced when Manning and Flynn sign elsewhere.
That somebody will be the Browns.
Cleveland has no shot at Peyton and they'll be hard-pressed to land Flynn as well.
With the No. 4 and No. 22 overall picks in their possession, no team is more dangerous on draft day than the Browns.
With their future on the line, despite trying to downplay their interest in RG3 as of late, they won't be able to hold back when they miss out QBs in free agency.
Griffin will certainly have a learning curve, but he'll have a coaching staff ready to buy into his future and do the best they can for him.
Matt Flynn
Best Destination: Seattle Seahawks (Miami Dolphins all but guaranteed if they miss on Manning though)
The Browns might get after Flynn, but it is the Seahawks or Dolphins with the best chance to land the Packers backup.
Seattle has a ton of money to throw around and the Dolphins' new head coach, Joe Philbin, was Flynn's offensive coordinator this past year.
But Miami will go all-in for Peyton and may very well land him before they even turn their attention to Flynn.
That is why the Seahawks, who play in a winnable division and have a good young core of players with playoff potential, will land Flynn as their future quarterback rather than fighting up the draft board from No. 12.
Ryan Tannehill
Best Destination: Washington Redskins
One of the hottest names in the draft hasn't been able to work out for NFL teams at all since the season ended.
That hasn't stopped him from earning earning rave reviews from teams.
Everyone is enamored with his potential at the next level and he's more than likely to be overdrafted in April.
The one team that will miss out on the free agent frenzy could very well be the free-spending Redskins. Although owner Daniel Snyder will overpay for anyone, this team doesn't have a ton of pieces in place and won't be as attractive to the likes of Peyton and Flynn.
Come draft day, if they miss on the veterans, they'll likely have to compete with Browns for a chance to land RG3, and Cleveland has more ammunition.
Thus, when all is said and done, the Redskins will be the one team reaching in April.
Tannehill won't be a savior right away, but he's a playmaker who could make strides if forced to start in his rookie season.
