Utah State -7.5 (-110) - Thu January 8th ‘09 8:00p
Believe it or not, the Utah State Aggies currently lead the nation in points per possession, and we look for them to use that offensive efficiency to their advantage here in a double-digit win over the Louisiana State Bulldogs.
The Aggies are averaging 1.20 points per possession this season, which ranks them ahead of such heavyweights as North Carolina, Notre Dame, and Arizona State. Thus, their 13-1 straight up start does not come as such a surprise.
Utah State is averaging 75.3 points per game, and they have outscored their Division I opponents this year by an impressive average of +13.9 points.
Furthermore, they have not minded going on the road, going 4-0 straight up and 3-0 against the spread in their true road games. They also won by double-digits the last time they visited Louisiana Tech last season.
The Bulldogs are under .500 overall at 7-8 straight up, although they are a perfect 4-0 at home. However, they have yet to face a team as good as Utah State at home, as two of their wins were vs. outclassed non-lined opponents and the other two were vs. UL Monroe and TCU.
That in no way prepared Louisiana Tech for such an efficient offense as this, so look for Utah State to just about duplicate their 10-point win here last season.

Oregon State +21.5 (-110) - Thu January 8th ‘09 10:30p
I’m expecting a low scoring game tonight which gives us a great chance of covering the huge number.
Oregon State is allowing only 61.6 points per game overall and 60.7 points per game on the road this year. Sun Devils are 1-5 ATS in their last six games as a favorite of 13.0 or greater. Beavers are 5-2 ATS in the last seven meetings in Arizona St.
We’ll recommend a small play on Oregon State tonight! - Courtesy of Rocketman Sports
