Robert Griffin III: Legacy Grows with News RGIII Will Grace Cover of NCAA 2013

Robert Griffin III continues to make his mark on the world with amazing feats of athleticism and swagger that is well off the charts. The new cover of NCAA Football 2013 is further evidence that this year will be RG3's to dominate. 

After a weekend where Griffin flew at the combine, football fans were treated to news that their next hot copy of the hit football series NCAA Football from EA Sports will feature the Baylor standout. 

The official website of the Baylor Bears reported on the news release from EA.

The other piece of crucial news is when we can expect to get this game in our hot little hands. We will have to wait until Tuesday, July 10th to see Griffin suit up in a Baylor jersey again. 

This comes on the heels of a fantastic weekend in Indianapolis, where Griffin was the talk of the town. The quarterback, slotted to be taken behind Andrew Luck as the second quarterback in the draft, ran a 4.41 40-yard dash. 

As I stated, he flew. 

Andrew Luck may be the most prized athlete in the draft, presumed to go first overall to the Indianapolis Colts, but Griffin is by far the most intriguing. The man has the talent that any franchise will crave and it's that sentiment that may get the St. Louis Rams a treasure trove of goodies for their second pick. 

We may yet see Luck get followed immediately by Griffin at the draft. His combine workout has a few teams drooling, and USA Today's Jarrett Bell reports on the rising price tag on his services.

Now the price to get the 2011 Heisman Trophy winner might also jump off the chart.

With the Colts likely taking Stanford's Andrew Luck with the No. 1 pick overall in the draft on April 26, competition for the right to select "RGIII" is heating up as the Rams shop the No. 2 pick.

The Rams have what they need with Sam Bradford, but other teams are not as fortunate. A player like Griffin works on so many levels. He has the talent to amaze the fanbase. His speed and huge arm make an uptempo and defy-all-odds kind of offense work. His charm and charisma are the kind of stuff politicians only dream of...and the socks. The man's socks scream swagger from the moment he wakes up in the morning.

If all of that weren't enough, he now has his own cover of a video game. 

This is the kind of silly daydream we had as kids, and RG3 is living it. It makes sense that he gets the cover of the new EA Sports game, as Griffin has been playing football like it was Coleco for a couple seasons. We might as well do the same with his image on the box.
