2012 NFL Free Agents: Randy Moss Willing to Play for Nothing, Has Workouts?
The headline is one thing, but I think the key to these reports to highlight is the fact that Randy Moss is actually willing to play for the love of the game of football.
"“This is not about money for him, he wants to play,” a source said. “He’ll want to be paid if he makes the team, but nothing up front. He’s not trying to grab a check.”
"
Ahh, okay, he's not crazy and he wants his money, after he earns it though. That's a new one. One unnamed NFC executive reportedly had this to say about the possibility of signing Moss.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
"“The question with him is all about motivation,” the team executive said. “I’m not all that interested because I like our wide receivers. But if the guy is willing to come in with no guarantees, just a make-good contract, I think that would make some teams more comfortable, no question.”
"
And now we get word that an unnamed team has Moss scheduled for a workout this upcoming week. Apparently someone is still interested in the prospect of the future Hall of Famer moving in the realm of 4.3 in the 40-yard dash.
Some establishments have connected Moss to the New York Jets, who have publicly expressed interest in a reunion with Braylon Edwards after a largely ineffective year out of Plaxico Burress. Yet there will always exist the whispers of Moss-to-New England rumors because those record-setting images cannot exit our self-mutilating, sports-loving minds.
The Moss ship has sailed in Boston Harbor and Moss' un-Patriotic behavior will force him to become an enemy of the state if he ever wants to don an NFL uniform again.
