NBA Celebrity All-Star Game 2012: Celebs We Want to See in Next Year's Edition
The All-Star break is the perfect time to sit back and watch some hilarious basketball action. This of course includes the celebrity game, but Friday's contest is missing some very intriguing superstars.
Let's be honest, the celebrity game could also be called "The People You May Have Heard Of" game. This year we are delighted to the basketball talents of "stars" like Vinny Guadagnino (Jersey Shore), Kevin Hart (Laugh At My Pain), Javier Colon (The Voice), Drew and Jonathan Scott (Property Brothers), and Jesse Williams (Grey's Anatomy).
It's time to think big, and if not, think creatively. Here are some stars that I would like to finally suit up, or at the very least reprise their roles at the celeb game.
Jack Nicholson
He is the most famous hoops fan in the world, so I figured it's time we finally get him in some basketball shorts and see what he has.
I am guessing by this video that he would show up with old man shoes and black socks. We can excuse him, because even asleep he is still the coolest.
Every year we get some old NBA players and are supposed to be glad—as if they are going to relive one iota of their glory days.
One retired superstar that would be a draw for fans is Shaquille O'Neal. He is one player that we wouldn't care about his talents or how in shape he would be. This would be all about his comedy.
An event that is as close to a farce anyway should get the big man of basketball chuckles.
Justin Bieber
Honestly, I just like seeing grown men get broken off by the Biebs. This stuff makes me laugh, and that is all I care about at an event like the All-Star Celebrity Game.
Will Ferrell
He has everything we want in a celeb-game player.
Just sit back and imagine the possibilities and you might just crack a smile. Now multiply that by a hilarious amount, and you have what Ferrell would bring to this game that so many overlook.
He would make Fridays at the All-Star break a must-see event.
