NBA Celebrity All-Star Game 2012: What to Expect from Celeb Ballers
One thing that you know we're going to get when we see celebrities on the floor is entertainment. It's their job to entertain you, which is going to happen on Friday.
On a more specific level, let's take a look at what exactly we can expect from some of the game's top celebs.
Kevin Hart
The trash talk will be flowing, but I am looking for good things from Hart in this one. As a matter of fact, he's my dark-horse MVP candidate.
Look for him to get in the heads of his opponents. This will be where Hart's value really shows. The 32-year-old will make his opponents laugh so hard that they can't defend him or control the ball.
What's more, as we have seen in the past, Hart has some game.
He will be a nasty defender, get in really close and go for the ball. On the other end of the floor, Hart will knock down some clutch shots from the outside.
Drew and Jonathan Scott
When your team includes twins, consider yourself fortunate. These two know where the other is at all times—that's the nature of being a twin. Plus, you never know what kind of plays they might have drawn up over the years.
These two are going to be deadly when the Celebrity Team gets out on the run. One can have his back completely turned from the other, but know exactly what is going to happen. That makes passing the ball a lot easier, not to mention deceiving the opposition.
JB Smoove
Let's face it, folks, this is not a name you earn without having a fine set of moves on the court, and that's exactly what we're going to see on Friday.
If you're looking for specific expectations, expect to see broken ankles, and a lot of them. A big game is in the cards for Mr. Smoove. One can only hope that these retired former NBA players aren't too old to keep up.
Pure and simple, domination is what we're going to see from this man on Friday.
