Dwight Howard Trade Rumors: How Trade Chatter Will Spoil D12's All-Star Weekend

If you missed the way that Dwight Howard reacted yesterday when the New Jersey Nets fans were chanting, "We want Dwight!" you missed the preview of what's going to be happening all weekend. Let's just say Howard looked like the pretty girl on a date when another guy hits on her. 

You can't blame it on the crowd. Howard did the flirting. However, his teammates were there and it's got to feel awkward for them. 

Similarly, in Orlando, the hometown fans are going to be cheering for their hometown hero, but it's going to be hard on them, too. It could lead to an even more awkward situation for them. 

This is going to be more like being on a date and hearing about all the other guys your girl has been giving her phone number to. 

At some point, it's going to get to you. 

All weekend, we are going to get dealt a steady stream of rumors about where Howard is going. Is he getting traded to the Lakers? Is he getting traded to the Nets? Is he going to the Bulls? Is he going somewhere we haven't heard of yet?

All the rumors will be coming fast and furious. And the faster they come, the more furious the hometown fans are going to get. 

Is it possible that they could get to the point of vocalizing their displeasure at the All-Star Game? What a strange thing it would be to see Dwight Howard booed in Orlando.

However, should the trade talk reach a point of sounding like an inevitability, don't be surprised if it happens. There was a time we couldn't imagine LeBron James being booed in Cleveland.
