Emmanuel Mayuka

According to TalkSport, Newcastle and Arsenal (noticing a pattern here?) are both chasing Zambian international forward Emmanuel Mayuka.

Mayuka, 21, scored three goals and played in all six of Zambia's matches at the recent African Cup of Nations. He scored the winner in the semifinals and converted his spot kick in the final's penalty shootout.

Newcastle had already been linked with Mayuka, who currently plays for Swiss club Young Boys, before the tournament.

Nathaniel Clyne

Crystal Palace defender Nathaniel Clyne has become a hot transfer target in recent weeks. Newcastle are just one of the many clubs reportedly interested in signing the 20-year-old.

Earlier this month, People.co.uk reported that Newcastle would "step up" their interest in Clyne, who is an England U-21 international.

Rakish Bingham

Earlier this month the Sun reported, in a quite matter-of-fact manner, that Wigan's 18-year-old youth player Rakish Bingham "is being chased by Newcastle, Fulham and Manchester City. Rangers and Martin O'Neill's Sunderland are also interested."

According to Wigan's official website, Bingham is a second-year scholar.

No word on how much a transfer would cost.
