Daytona 500 Odds: Danica Patrick and More Stupid Bets You Must Avoid

Alex KayJun 7, 2018

The Daytona 500 is just around the corner and it’s always an exciting event, especially for fans that also love to wager on the event.

Just last year, a long shot rookie named Trevor Bayne stole the show and paid lucky bettors 100-to-1 on their investment.

Will that happen again with another rookie this year named Danica Patrick? That’s highly doubtful.

Let’s take a look at her odds and some more bets you should avoid in the 2012 Daytona 500 (via VegasInsider).

Danica Patrick  (75:1)

Danica has been moving up and down all week, opening at 100:1 and moving all the way down to 50:1 before settling right in the middle at 75:1.

Regardless of what her winning could buy you if you threw down a few pennies, stop and think for a minute.

She’s participating in her first Sprint Cup race of her life and failed to do much except three top-10 finishes in Nationwide.

Danica is over-hyped and her odds of actually winning this are much lower than 75:1 or even 100:1. Stay away from this bet because the value simply isn’t there.

Here’s another fan favorite that has never won the Daytona 500.

Stewart has accomplished everything else in the sport except winning this particular race.

This is simply terrible value for someone who has proven time and time again he can’t win this event.

Make sure you avoid these two drivers on Sunday if you want to have a profitable and awesome Daytona 500 experience.

Stay tuned to B/R throughout the week for the latest news, opinion and analysis on the epic race.
