The 2008 California Golden Bears' Most Memorable Plays

The 2008 California Golden Bears had plenty of memorable plays during the season— plays on long runs, amazing catches, game winning touchdown passes, etc.

Now that the season is over let's begin with some of those plays. 

• Nate Longshore's game winning touchdown pass to Anthony Miller to win the Emerald Bowl. Longshore's Winning Touchdown
• Verran Tucker, in the Emerald Bowl, catches a short pass and takes it 74 yards down to the the 2 yard line. Tucker's 74 yard catch.
• Zach Follet causes a huge fumble that lead to Cal's game winning points, unfortunately there's no clip of Follet's hit, causing the fumble, except for ESPN's review of the game, so here it is. Game Changing hit by Follet
• Zach Follet picks up a blocked field goal and takes it 68 yards for an easy touchdown. Follet's Touchdown
• Jahvid Best's had a 311 yard day against the Washington Huskies. Best's huge game against Huskies.
• Shane Vereen seals the Bears' victory over the Michigan State Spartans with a 80 yard touchdown run. Shane Vereen seals victory over Spartans
• Best takes a screen pass, makes one man miss, reverses field against Stanford, and takes it 60 yards. Reversed Field by Best
• Syd'Quan Thompson takes makes 73 yard punt return for a touchdown against Colorado State. Thompson goes 73 yards for a punt return touchdown.
• Best, in the first play against Washington State takes it 80 yards. Best goes 80 yards on first play from scrimmage. 
• Sean Young's makes a nice grab against Michigan State on a throw from Kevin Riley. Sean Young's good grab
• Lastly, Verran Tucker's makes a one-handed catch against USC. Tucker's spectacular catch.
