NFL Trade Rumors: 4 Biggest Names on the 2012 Trading Block
Free agency hasn’t begun yet and the NFL draft is nearly two months away, but there are a handful of trade rumors making the rounds.
First is the nearly sure-thing move of San Francisco 49ers cornerback Shawntae Spencer to another team, perhaps the St. Louis Rams. Matt Maiocco of Comcast SportsNet has confirmed that Spencer requested to be traded and the Niners seem willing to give him what he wants. The St. Louis Rams are rumored to be his top choice.
Anthony Blake of Rant Sports put a scenario out there that would have Miami Dolphins wide receiver Brandon Marshall sent to the Rams as part of a trade package for their No. 2 overall draft pick, in order to pick up quarterback Robert Griffin III.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
New York Giants defensive end Osi Umenyiora said to ESPN’s Mike & Mike in the Morning that he could be traded this offseason. With $3.975 million owed him in the final year of his contract, trading him would be smarter for the Giants than the cap hit they’d take by releasing him.
Finally, Indianapolis Colts quarterback Peyton Manning has been the subject of many a trade rumor over the past months, but as the deadline approaches for his long-time team to pay him and his medical status still very much up in the air, there’s little chance that he will end up on a new team in 2012 via trade.
