WWE: 5 Storylines for Kane Following the Elimination Chamber
Maybe one of the biggest questions in the WWE that is not being answered right now is what will happen with Kane since he lost the Ambulance Match and has no dance partner (yet) at WrestleMania 28.
It would have been great to see Triple H ignore the Undertaker's stalking and see the Big Red Machine come to the forefront and get inside his "brother's" head, but the idea of Hell in a Cell is such an awesome idea.
Yes, WM 28 is looking like it will be one of the best, if not the best ever assembled. Kudos to creative for looking like they have something great going on here.
But with John Cena working his "Rock" angle and things taking shape with title matches, etc., Kane cannot be left out of WrestleMania. And with the recent events of Eve turning heel, things could get interesting to say the least.
Here are a few angles that Kane could get involved in before and in WrestleMania 28.
He Continues to Feud with Zack Ryder
1 of 5This looks to be the best option. But if this happens, Kane really needs to put Ryder over.
Ryder was looking like he was the next big "Cena" in the WWE and then had his United States Title taken away by Jack Swagger. Nothing has been done to "fix" that situation.
Kane dominated Ryder even before he was in a wheelchair and "injured" even more. It would seem when Ryder comes back, he comes back with a vengeance and destroys the Big Red Machine.
He Teams with Eve in Some Fashion
2 of 5I don't like the "triangle" idea of Ryder/Cena/Eve and lost interest, like, on the first night of its inception.
But Eve now needs a dance partner and some heat other than what she is involved in. Does she find her way to the Dark Side with the Master of Hate?
It makes sense, and if there is a continuation of the Ryder/Kane angle, Eve is now working against her former love interest, not with him.
He Challenges Sheamus After WM 28
3 of 5If he stays out of the title picture or the spotlight until after April 1, then it is possible he challenges Sheamus if Sheamus wins the World Title.
But the draft would have to happen, and there would have to be plenty of jockeying with creative for position, etc.
The idea of using Kane as a title holder may not sit well with younger and fresher talent, but Kane represents and sells like few others.
There Is Always CM Punk
4 of 5I like that idea, actually. And it does not have to be with the WWE title on the line.
Punk and Kane are a natural fit, especially if he loses the WWE Title. Maybe Chris Jericho tangles with someone like a Dolph Ziggler, or maybe a change in the WWE rosters brings a Randy Orton to Raw.
Kane will try to get the popular star to give in to the hate (different tactics this time, not like with ones with Cena). Maybe he is successful.
It would be more likely that Punk would turn heel than Cena anyway.
He Still Finds His Way to the Undertaker
5 of 5If Undertaker survives Hell in a Cell, will he need another year to recuperate?
Kane seems the logical fit for a challenge, and we all have talked about wanting to see him battle Undertaker one last time.
Kane may be in the best shape of his life, and it would be a shame to see the time away from the ring wasted if it was for only one angle with Cena.
