My First Time Going To an Eagles Playoff Game
On Sunday, January, 4, 2009, the Philadelphia Eagles beat the Minnesota Vikings 26-14 in the Metrodome. It was the Vikings first time since hosting a playoff game since the 2000 season, and it wasn’t successful. Brian Westbrook was shut down the whole time, until his 71-yard touchdown catch with 6:37 left in the game. David Akers made four field goals and two extra points and Astante Samuel had a 45-yard interception return for a touchdown.
I was late to the game because I was in major traffic on my way from Iowa. The roads were very icy and my dad had to drive really slowly, and we were in a long standstill. I came when the 1st Quarter had just ended. It was my first time going to an Eagles playoff game. I’ve been an Eagles fan since 2004.
I live in Minnesota, and during the whole week people were telling the Eagles suck, but the Vikings suck. I had a great time seeing all those Eagles fans at the game. We celebrated like crazy after the game, and we are ready to take the Giants down.
The Eagles had a really tough time making the playoffs, but thanks to losses by Chicago and Tampa Bay, and the Eagles 44-6 win over the Cowboys. The Eagles are ready to fly.
Don’t stop believing Eagles fans!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Go on Philadelphiaeagles.com and write a fan feedback and encourage your team.
