Alshon Jeffery Combine: South Carolina WR Has Huge Battle in NFL Workout
Alshon Jeffery is everything you want in a star wide receiver, but that could be said about a few players that could steal his thunder in the first round, meaning he needs to steal the show at the NFL Combine.
You can almost sense the pressure and nervous energy leaking from Lucas Oil Stadium at the moment. Athletes from all over the nation will come to Indianapolis and once again be smaller fish than they are used to being.
These are the best and brightest at every position, and like Alshon Jeffery, they have to prove themselves all over again.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Here is a list of the receivers Jeffrey will have to contend with to make his mark as a first-round player. You will soon see that this is a deep year for play makers at wideout.
Jeffery will have to put together some remarkable events to stay in line with other superstars.
Justin Blackmon: Here is the pinnacle of the position. Balckmon's only issue is his top-end speed. Scouts have been alerted to this before hand, so only a disastrous 40-yard dash time will see him lose ground.
Blackmon is big, strong and athletic. He is adept at creating space and simply overpowering defenders to win the ball.
Michael Floyd: Notre Dame will miss this phenom that should make one big, glorious dent at the next level. At 6'3" and near 220 pounds, Floyd has the build to be a dominant force along the line.
He is tough to bring down and has the flash and ability to break off for big plays that you want in a first rounder. Durability will be an issue with some teams, but not enough to see his stock take a hit.
Kendall Wright: He is precisely the player that could knock Jeffrey to the later rounds. There may still be room enough for four receivers, with tremendous need all round in the first day.
Expect for Wright to be the talk of the town after this weekend. He has amazing speed at that should push him over the top of Jeffrey well into March.
Wright will get a lot of press from his top-end speed which is simply awesome.
Alshon Jeffery: I placed Jeffery at the back mainly because I still think he has some convincing to do with scouts and experts making mock draft selections.
He may in fact surprise at the combine. He has a big frame and possesses a great work ethic. In any other year, he would be a first-round guarantee.
There are still some questions on his ability to create separation, initial burst and top-end speed. Most of that would be answered with a brilliant showing this week.
