New England Patriots

I'm sure you've already seen this, but in case you haven't, B/R draft guru Matt Miller is doing a series on the NFL's top 1,000 players in 2011. The first order of business is the quarterbacks, where he gives us his top 50. Tom Brady comes out at No. 2 on his list behind Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers.

Free agent wide receiver Brandon Lloyd spoke to Mike Florio on Pro Football Talk Live and said he would entertain the idea of rejoining Josh McDaniels with the Patriots. B/R Patriots featured columnist Tony Santorsa tells us why this would be a coup for the Patriots.

New York Jets

There's one rumor you can dismiss: Sione Pouha getting the franchise tag. According to Jenny Vrentas of the Newark Star-Ledger, the Jets aren't expected to use the tag on Pouha.
