It Is Back: The Elimination Chamber Hits in 2009!
It is demonic, it is challenging to one's body, and you come in one way and leave another. I am talking about one of the most destructive matches in WWE history: the Elimination Chamber.
First established by Eric Bishoff a while back, it is a match that can make or break a superstar. And it will be back this year at No Way Out. The poster is in the pic I put up with Vladimir Kozlov on it.
It will possibly be revealed within the next month, and with Vince McMahon coming back in two weeks, he may make the announcement. It will include many of the top names in the WWE.

Here is the formal announcement for it posted up:
"Two miles of chain and ten tons of steel will surround WWE Superstars in the elimination chamber. Don’t miss Triple H, John Cena, Vladimir Kozlov, Chris Jericho, Jeff Hardy, Undertaker, Rey Mysterio, and all your favorite Superstars at WWE No Way Out, Sunday, February 15th, live at 8PM ET/5PM PT, only on Pay-Per-View. A World Wrestling Entertainment Production"
Now, since it is coming up at No Way Out, I figure more will be added to the group up there. I don't think it will be a RAW vs SmackDown thing. We should see a RAW match and a SmakDown match as we have seen in the past.
But you never know with the WWE; they could throw a curveball at us and make a RAW vs SmackDown match. Of course, many up there are Elimination Chamber veterans. The Undertaker actually won one.
I personally can't wait. But seeing as Hardy and Cena are World Champions of their respective shows, you have to think that they may still be champion after the Royal Rumble.
Especially when you see something come out like this. Of course, many of the shows they do are advertised for months in advance sometimes. But they do like to advertise World Champions a good bit.
This will throw out any storylines affecting many of the superstars with one on one matches. Obviously, there has been word of Christian Cage coming back and being in a match with Jeff Hardy at No Way Out.
But that is thrown out the window, unless the WWE decides to put him in the match. There are still spots open for the SmackDown match. We could easily see Edge and/or Cage be in the match.
What do you think about NWO? Will it be great with the return of the Elimination Chamber?
