Danica Patrick Talks to the Media About Sexuality at Daytona
It was a surprise revelation from NASCAR's darling, Danica Patrick, who despite her revealing commercials and photo shoots, questioned the media about sexual connotations and pretty female athletes.
Patrick has made it clear that she is comfortable with being female and if flaunting that because she can is comfortable to her, it would be silly not to.
The GoDaddy.com girl has been seen in revealing commercials for years.

She has posed for some photos that didn't leave a lot to the imagination and looked pretty as a representative for companies other than her primary NASCAR sponsor.
When it comes to her performance in a male dominated sport, which had been the IndyCar Series and is now just NASCAR, Patrick questions the term "sexy."
During a question and answer session at NASCAR Media Day in Daytona, a member of the media asked her why sexism is still involved.
Patrick said, "I think that probably until it's 50/50 girls and boys, you are probably going to hear some of that."
She continued, "I think that the only thing that makes me a little bit curious, and maybe you guys can answer this question in some way, but you know, it's like if there is a pretty girl, it's like they don't know how to describe a pretty girl other than being sexy and that has such a negative connotation to it.
Patrick stated, "You don't describe a guy like that. You don't frame it that way for a guy. If female athletes are pretty, they only know how to describe them in a sexual way."
The GoDaddy.com girl said, "I don't care," but wonders why it can't be handled differently instead of being "somewhat negatively twisted."
A reporter then asked her what a good word would be.
Patrick said, "You guys are the wordsmiths. I'm not a wordsmith, just something without the word 'sex' in it."
The driver of the No. 7 Nationwide car and No. 10 NASCAR Sprint Cup car makes a somewhat valid point.
Many women consider drivers like Kasey Kahne, Dale Earnhardt Jr., Jimmie Johnson, Jeff Gordon and a lot of other drivers as pretty sexy.
By the same token, there are those who don't find the diminutive Patrick to be the beauty she is often referred to as, though it is really hard to deny she cleans up really well.
Patrick joked about trying to look as good as possible in her bright green GoDaddy.com drivers suit that one could hardly call feminine and certainly not sexy.
Perhaps after Speedweeks at Daytona and the 2012 season rolls along, Patrick will become known for her ability and those sexual references will no longer be an issue.
