Elimination Chamber 2012: 8 Things That Could Surprise Us All
The heat from this weekend's Elimination Chamber is lukewarm at best, which leads me and maybe some of you to think this will not be as great a PPV as it could or should be.
Let's all be honest: we want to see WrestleMania 28 now and are jazzed about the largest PPV event of the year, not something that has the makings of a dud.
We need a surprise or two. We need a sense of suspense. We need drama, highlights and maybe a surprise winner or something to keep us compelled.
These are some things we need to see Sunday. Maybe they happen. Maybe they don't. But this PPV really needs a shot of adrenaline.
Triple H and Undertaker Confront Each Other
1 of 8It is bound to happen again and should happen at the PPV right before WrestleMania28.
Undertaker is taunting Triple H. The Dead Man is calling him out through video, getting in his mind and under his skin.
And although it is working, we have not had a definitive decision from the COO other than a "no" for now.
Triple H and Shawn Michaels Get Heated Again
2 of 8I would love to see the two of them get in each other's faces again.
No one seems to get under Triple H's skin more than his best friend (well, maybe his wife).
I thought the two of them were going to go to blows on Monday night. We all wished that happened.
It COULD happen Sunday night.
The Rock Makes His Presence Felt
3 of 8If you know what the Rock is cooking, then expect him to make his presence known Sunday night.
Be sure he will be talking to "Footy Pebbles" and about "Lady Parts" and make a great spectacle of everything.
The Rock would not have it any other way.
Kharma Gets Involved in the Tamina/Beth Phoenix Match
4 of 8The devil herself will not be denied.
I can see a match moving along where Tamina loses the match and she is further attacked by Phoenix—only to have Kharma come in and save the day.
It would be interesting to see Tamina, who has become a quick fan favorite, to be a go-between the two giants in the Divas Division.
Cody Rhodes Wins the Smackdown Chamber Match
5 of 8He needs to do something.
Right now, he is the Intercontinental Champion. That used to mean something, but now it is only a title and nothing more.
Rhodes could be the lead dog of this company and the best heel the company has ever had.
But winning the Elimination Chamber would mean he's moving back up the ladder.
Kofi Kingston Wins the Raw Chamber Match
6 of 8If Kingston does not win the Chamber match, what happens to him?
There is really no place for him to go, unless he finds a tag team partner that could help him lead the division and bring more great tag teams to the company.
Kingston's ability is tremendous, but with the other headliners in the company all vying for the title, there is no other place for him to be than as a title holder.
Eve Turns Heel and Helps Kane Win the Match with John Cena
7 of 8After the "Kiss" and the reaction by Zack Ryder and the crap that has been going on, Eve turning heel is a legitimate possibility.
A woman scorned (by John Cena) could lead to her collusion with Kane and her helping him win the PPV match.
We have seen women do this in the past, and it actually makes a lot of sense.
RVD Replaces Khali in the Chamber Match
8 of 8I think we are just waiting for RVD.
PPV events are about making grand entrances and making a statement.
This time, RVD makes the most sense to surprise us all.
Can he take Khali's place in the Chamber, or make a statement afterwards? We all shall see.
