See for Yourself: Watch Syracuse Orange Recruits DaJuan Coleman and Jerami Grant

Daniel O'BrienJun 1, 2018

Jim Boeheim's 2012 recruiting class includes a couple of exciting young prospects who will soon be rocking the Carrier Dome rims for the Syracuse Orange.

Jerami Grant is a 6'6" forward from DeMatha High School in Maryland with explosive athleticism and a long wingspan. He'll fit in well in Syracuse's zone defense and fast-break style.

DaJuan Coleman, the McDonald's All-American hometown hero from Jamesville-DeWitt near Syracuse, has the potential to be a star center for the Orange.

But don't take my word for it. See for yourself in this video slideshow full of highlights and interviews.

DaJuan Coleman has an impressive post game; he uses his powerful frame to get good position and finish strong.

The video shows some promising skills: a nice touch off the glass, finishing in traffic, monster dunks and most impressive, the smooth outside shot.

Orange fans can't wait to see him alongside Fab Melo, C.J. Fair and Rakeem Christmas.

Attacking the rim is definitely Jerami Grant's greatest strength. No one will confuse him with Ray Allen.

But he has shown an interest in expanding his game and being a reliable outside shooter. Here's a glimpse at his long-range shooting skills.

What's particularly impressive about this DaJuan Coleman mix is his passing ability and ball-handling.

Not only do these skills mean the future is bright for Syracuse hoops, but an NBA career might be on the horizon for Coleman.

Grant Is Unassuming and Focused

7 of 8

When you listen to Jerami Grant for just a few minutes, you get the feeling that he's a shy, unassuming young man who's less focused on what he's accomplished and more focused on what he wants to do in the future.

Even though he's from a high-pedigree basketball family, he seems humble and hungry.

Or maybe he's just camera-shy!
