WWE News: Evan Bourne's Backstage Woes Continue; Are His Days Numbered?

This has been one hell of a week for Evan Bourne.

First, he was removed from the Raw intro, and now, his merchandise takes a hit. Wrestlinginc.com is reporting that Bourne's t-shirt has been slashed to 68 percent off its original price.

The article states, "The lone Evan Bourne T-Shirt on WWEshop.com, which is an Authentic T-Shirt, has been marked down 68%. The premium T-Shirt is now available for $7.99."

Here is one unlikely thing to consider: With Bourne's impending comeback, WWE may have created a new shirt and are looking to get rid of the old inventory.

Either way,  that has gotta hurt not only the pocketbook, but the ego as well. Bourne has not been seen on WWE TV since he began serving his second suspension for a Wellness Policy violation. Since that suspension, there have been stories about Bourne's demise. Especially considering it appears that Triple H may be pretty much over the high-flyer's antics.

Personally, I have never been a fan of Bourne, as I felt he was very overrated. Yes, he can do some death-defying moves and some sick high spots, but after that, he is just very vanilla. He has no mic skills and only recently held a tag title because he and Kofi Kiingston were very over with fans.

If Bourne is indeed finished, he has no one to blame but himself. He managed to screw up the first time while he and Kingston were tag champs. Then, he let his partner down again about a month later. Now, it's one thing to screw yourself, but when you start affecting others' paychecks and situations, it's not cool.

Needless to say, we have just a few weeks left until Bourne's suspension is over, so I guess we will find out his fate soon enough.
