2012 NFL Free Agents: Randy Moss and More Players Not Worth the Trouble
Are you an NFL team with a lot of cap room and some serious holes to fill on your roster this offseason? Have you been eagerly awaiting free agency to begin so you can begin the courting process?
Well, have I got some clunkers and trouble-makers for you!
If you want to throw away your money, get a poor investment on your return or wind up with more trouble than you bargained for, go ahead and sign one of these five guys.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
I dare you.
He's likely lost a step, might not have the ridiculous athleticism or flexibility that enabled him to make circus catches and he's prone to quitting on the team, becoming a distraction and sometimes just acting like a brat.
Seriously, if you want specific examples of all of those, check out this article from Alex Marvez of Fox Sports.
Buyer beware.
Peyton Hillis
Hillis had a fantastic 2010, made the cover of Madden and decided he wanted more money from the Cleveland Browns.
They said no, the contract dispute was made public and his behavior in the locker room even prompted several players to have a sit-down with him.
Hillis is a solid option as a platoon back, but for the money he wants, he would need to be a primary runner. I don't think he is good enough to fill that role at the NFL level.
Don't overpay for Mr. Hillis, NFL teams.
Fred Davis
Davis is an extremely talented tight end. He is also one failed drug test away from a season-long suspension.
Buy at your own risk.
Dwayne Bowe
Bowe has a ton of talent and has established himself as capable of being a No. 1 option for an NFL team. However, I've also seen him grow alligator arms in traffic, battle inconsistency and drop too many passes (his 12 this past season were the second most in the NFL).
He's a good guy to have on your team, but I wouldn't recommend signing him at the price he'll demand—he's not worth it.
Albert Haynesworth
He should be the latest athlete to undergo a name change. I already have a suggestion:
Buyer's Remorse.
