WWE Elimination Chamber 2012: Odds for Each Wrestler Winning Raw Match

Tim KeeneyJun 7, 2018

WWE Champion CM Punk will put his title on the line on Sunday against five other strong, shirtless men in their underwear.

No matter who wins this elimination chamber match, it's going to be a good time for everyone.

Still, someone has to come out as a winner. Here's a quick look at the odds of each wrestler doing the Aaron Rodgers Belt-Dance.

CM Punk

After holding the WWE Championship for about a week back in July, Punk's second reign has lasted over 90 days. With the exception of The Miz's recent run at the end of 2010 and early 2011, championship reigns haven't lasted this long in a while.

It might be tough for Punk to continue to hold the belt for this long. On the other hand, Wrestlemania might be a better time to see the belt switch hands after this long run.

I'm a still a believer that Punk will win this match, but I'm inclined to lower his odds, at least a little bit, because he has lasted this long and it might be time for a change.

Odds: 2:1

Chris Jericho

If someone is going to knock off Punk this weekend, it'll be Jericho. He came this close to winning the Royal Rumble, but it seems like everything has building up to him taking the title.

First was the bizarre heel turn. Then he defeated all of the same wrestlers who will be in the chamber in a Six-Pack Challenge match. Sooner or later, he's going to win the belt.

Again, Wrestlemania might be a better time for Jericho to win the belt, but this is a good time as well.

Odds: 3:1

Dolph Ziggler

Ziggler has come extremely close to winning the WWE Championship in the past few weeks, but I have a feeling the momentum will start to die down in this one.

His rivalry with Punk should be coming to an end anytime now, and this would be a good time for it to end. Actually, after the disappointing Royal Rumble match was a good time, but this should end it for good.

If Ziggler wins, the feud won't be over. And that's not a good thing.

Odds: 10:1

The Rest

The Miz and R-Truth have been teaming-up/battling for the past few months, and it's clear that they are just going to get in each other's way. I just don't see any way these two get separated, and if one of them were to win the belt, that would serve as a separation. I'll give them both 15:1 odds.

That leaves good ol' Kofi Kingston. Exciting style (see above). Boring name. He's spent most of his recent time in tag-team action, so this championship opportunity comes a little bit out of nowhere, although he's had a long-time feud with Ziggler. I'll put his odds at 20:1.

Still, with such low odds, he might just be the best bet. Watch out for Kofi.
