Jeremy Lin Video: Watch Knicks PG Star in NBA 2K12 Spoof
The fine folks at Next Media Animation (NMA), creators of the hilarious videos that parody American culture, have now turned their attention to Jeremy Lin's rise to stardom.
They've even done so by spoofing a Jeremy Lin version of NBA 2K12.
This should be fun. Let's check it out.
0:14—That is a PlayStation controller. Keep that in mind.
0:27—Hey, why is she getting XBox points when she was just holding a PlayStation controller? I'm confused...
0:31—Leave it to Mike D'Antoni to incorporate the "Cherry Picker" defense into his fast-paced offensive scheme. Steve Nash would have loved this.
0:45—Wait, why is he the king of assists after the Los Angeles Lakers game? Sure, he had seven assists in that game, but it was against the Lakers that he scored a career-high 38 points. C'mon, NMA, get your facts straight!
0:56—Honestly, Floyd Mayweather breathing fire isn't really that much of a stretch. He certainly tweets fire.
1:16—Humility should be worth one million points.
1:24—Wait a second, she's holding up four fingers while saying "J. Lin No. 1." I'm probably showing just how un-hip I am right now, but that doesn't make much sense to me.
Not one of NMA's funniest efforts, but enjoyable nonetheless. What will Linsanity bring us next?
