WWE Star C.M Punk and Rener Gracie Breakdown Gracie vs. Severn

CM Punk is former two time ROH World Tag Team Champion and a former ROH Worl Champion, as well as a former WWE Tag Team Champion, a former WWE Intercontinental Champion, a former World Heavyweight Champion (think WWE Champion, except with the NWA/WCW World title, if you're not big on Pro Wrestling), the reigning WWE Champion, and to top it all off...a special guest at the Gracie Academy?

Yes, you normally hear Ryron and Rener Gracie introducing themselves and welcoming both their Youtube subscribers and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu aficionados alike into the Gracie Academy, all the while keeping it real in talking about how their father, the legendary Rorion Gracie, created the Ultimate Fighting Championship in 1993 to showcase the effectiveness of what we commonly know as Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, otherwise revered as Gracie Jiu-Jitsu, to the world.

Now that every fighter has incorporated this art form of combat into their battle plans, Ryron and Rener, the brothers-in-law of former WEC Featherweight and former KOTC Lightweight Champion "Showtime" Javier Vazquez, have been breaking down how the combatants in the cage used it so that others may add it to their own arsenals.

This time out, Rener brought out the "Chicago Made" WWE Champion to help break down the Triangle Choke that the legendary Royce Gracie used to submit Dan "The Beast" Severn at 15:49 in their UFC 4 Tournament Final.

Punk is known in both Pro Wrestling circles and MMA circles as an avid UFC/MMA fan, and if you take note of his form on his knees, his head kicks and the fact of a key-lock being his submission-of-choice, it's not hard to see how the current WWE champion might be so conversed about and so respected by some in MMA circles.
