WWE Elimination Chamber 2012: Expect Exciting Finish to RAW Chamber

Eric BallJun 7, 2018

It’s put up or shut up time for Chris Jericho.

The WWE Elimination Chamber is less than a week away and nobody needs to return as badly as Y2J.

His return to the ring has been marred by clumsy creative team ideas that fans haven’t responded to. Maybe it’s part of the master plan, or maybe they know as much and are ready for a drastic change.

With Jericho set to enter the RAW chamber against The Miz, R-Truth, Dolph Ziggler, Kofi Kingston and CM Punk, I fully expect him to take home the belt. WrestleMania is on the horizon and everybody and their mom can see a Jericho-Punk feud brewing from a mile away.

Combine that with the R-Truth/Miz rivalry and the randomness that is Ziggler, and this is going to be by far the best match of the night.

That means there is going to be one heck of a finish on Sunday because Punk isn’t surrendering the belt without a fight. The rest of the contestants will be tough outs, which means fatigue will be an issue when it’s just Punk and Jericho left. In the end, though, the creative team will have Jericho prevail to add a juicy layer to his current path.

Jericho and Punk are two of the best with the mic that still wrestle regularly. The smack talk between the two leading up to WrestleMania is going to be epic. The Punk fanboys are going to be enraged until the score is settled at WrestleMania. We won’t get that if Punk wins again.

The 2012 Elimination Chamber is going to be worth the PPV money because of the one and only Y2J. Finally, one of the greatest wrestlers of all time will get the respect he deserves from a new age of fans that have no idea how dominate Jericho used to be.

Punk will likely win the war at WrestleMania, but Jericho will win the battle at the Elimination Chamber.
