Still to Come
5 of 5Sporting Dogs: These are the kind of dogs that will be seen in hunting fields all throughout the world. These animals generally have strong noses, even for canine standards, as well as a sense of direction.
Working Dogs: As is the case with toy dogs, many of these dogs are similar to the ones seen in other categories. Unlike the toy group, these breeds are generally significantly bigger than the others that they would normally be grouped with.
Terrier Dogs: A great majority of these dogs are seen in homes as pets today, as they have the perfect combination of size and also hunting skills to be desired as a pet.
Best in show: Exactly what it sounds like, this is the dog deemed to be the best of all of the animals that have walked through Madison Square Garden. This is far and away the most prestigious award in this show. As this event is second to only the Kentucky Derby in terms of continuously run American sporting events, this is perhaps the greatest honor that any dog or owner can achieve.
