LeBron James Video: Watch Chris Bosh Interrupt James' Interview with Profanity

Adam WellsFeb 14, 2012

Chris Bosh is thought of as the Ringo Starr of the Miami Heat. He serves a purpose on the court, but no one really knows what he does or why he is such a big deal.

What better way for him to steal some headlines than to interrupt a postgame interview with LeBron James after a big victory?

That was the situation on Monday night, when the Heat defeated Milwaukee by 18 points. James was set to do an interview with Jason Jackson, but Bosh decided to chime in with his own thoughts about the game.

He even added some colorful language to his joyous speech to make the incident a little more memorable. The only thing that rang louder than Bosh's glee at the victory was his obvious, desperate plea for attention.

You could tell by the look on James' face that he was thinking, "Aw, the ugly cousin is finally getting some television time."

Jackson, like a true champion, did not miss a beat. He was smiling right along with James, but also knew that he had to apologize for Bosh's language.

It was a moment of journalistic brilliance on his part. It would have been better if someone like Chip Kelly was being interviewed, so he could turn to Bosh and tell him to shut up.

You have to feel for Bosh—no matter what he does or how hard he tries, he is always going to be No. 3 in Miami. He could be named MVP of the NBA Finals, but all that anyone would talk about his how great this moment is for James and Dwyane Wade.

You can understand why he ran up, said his piece and ran off like a little girl who just stole a lock of Justin Bieber's hair.

Perhaps now Ringo—er, Bosh—will get enough publicity to satisfy his insatiable need to be a part of the grand trio in Miami and not talk anymore. If he does, let's hope it gives us the joy that this postgame rant did.
