WWE: Why Undertaker's Return Will Benefit Everyone

The WWE is a better company when Undertaker is on TV or his appearances on TV are being teased.

It’s really that simple.

No matter what generation a wrestling fan hails from, the Undertaker has become such a phenomenon that he can draw like no other superstar in WWE history.

While Stone Cold and The Rock were great at what they did, there has never been a character gimmick that has lasted as long or been as successful as the Undertaker.

Undertaker’s return has given a spike in the ratings and that means more money for Vince McMahon. We all know that when Vinny is happy, everyone is happy.

It’s not just for the money, though. His return for the road to WrestleMania is good for everyone.

Along with the main event of The Rock vs. John Cena, Undertaker vs. Triple H will be one of the main focal points of the Pay-Per-View. With Daniel Bryan and CM Punk holding the belts at the time of these matches, the subsequent numbers will have WWE officials convinced that it had something to do with who was wearing the gold.

That’s one of the reasons The Miz got the kind of push he did last year after WrestleMania.

With Undertaker probably leaving again for awhile after this year’s event, he won’t mind letting the younger guys eat up the entire spotlight. He knows it’s all about WrestleMania and is playing this smart.

I think the biggest winner of all of this is Triple H. I know it’s getting old talking about his alliance with the McMahon family, but it’s hard to ignore the fact that he keeps getting matches against the top guys in the WWE whenever he wants.

Facing the Undertaker at WrestleMania could make a star's career, but the WWE continues to recycle veterans on the biggest stage of them all. As much as Triple H is playing this angle amazingly, its almost certain that he won’t beat Undertaker.

The final winner will be the fans. If Undertaker does en up winning, there will be another match at WrestleMania. That’s a topic for another day.
