The Toronto Maple Leafs are trying to get back into the Stanley Cup Playoffs for the first time since the 2003-04 season. They are in the middle of a number of trade deadline moves that could propel this team from the outskirts of the playoffs to a team that could make some noise in the NHL’s second season.
According to Star.com, Maple Leafs General Manager Brian Burke could be interested in bringing in a player that he drafted while he was the general manager for the Anaheim Ducks.
