NFL Rumors: 4 Teams That Might Look into Un-Retired WR Randy Moss
Retired receiver Randy Moss announced today via a video chat on Ustream that he was planning on making a comeback to the NFL next season. Given that the interest in his services was low enough a year ago that Moss retired, there may not be an NFL team that pulls the trigger on the 35-year-old.
But if there were a team or two that would give him a second look, these four might be the best options:
New England Patriots

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
The Patriots want a vertical threat, but the Moss they'd get in 2012 isn't the one that broke the receiving touchdowns record with Tom Brady in 2007. They have also had plenty of opportunities to get him back since trading him to the Minnesota Vikings in 2010 but have declined.
Still, you can't discount that New England would take another look. James Walker of ESPN says the Patriots will have "medium" interest in reacquiring Moss.
Philadelphia Eagles
The Eagles were a team discussed in the past for Moss, and they'd make a certain amount of sense now if free agent receiver DeSean Jackson bolts out of Philadelphia for more money. If Moss can show that he still has some value as a deep threat, he'd be a cheap, sensible replacement for Jackson.
ESPN's Dan Graziano also thinks this scenario exists only if Jackson left the Eagles.
New Orleans Saints
The Saints are another team that could lose an impact receiver in free agency. In fact, they could lose two. Marques Colston and Robert Meachem are free agents this offseason, and it's doubtful if the Saints could retain both.
As Pat Yasinskas of ESPN points out, the Saints have looked into veteran options in the past. And in a locker room run by Drew Brees and Sean Payton, Moss's attitude wouldn't be a huge issue.
Chicago Bears
With Mike Tice promoted to offensive coordinator in Chicago, the connection here is pretty obvious. Tice developed the "Randy Ratio" during his time as head coach of the Minnesota Vikings, and Moss had a few of his best seasons under Tice.
The Bears desperately need another receiving threat for big-armed quarterback Jay Cutler, so the move fits on paper. Kevin Seifert also thinks the Moss-to-Chicago makes sense.
