Grand Slam Tennis 2: New Innovations Will Make Game a Must-Own
With the long-awaited sequel to Grand Slam Tennis almost released, the excitement from tennis fans is off the charts.
Tennis fans will be excited to know that this year’s version much more realistic than the first edition that seemed too much like an arcade game.
Release Date: February 14 is North America
Consoles: PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360
Price: $59.99
Ratings: GameSpot-6.5/10, IGN-8.5/10
What We’re Excited About
All the Grand Slams
This is the only tennis simulation on the market that has all four of the majors in the game. Add that to the ESPN commentary that is also exclusive to this game, and you have the best tennis game around.
The idea of playing as the best tennis legends in history at the four biggest events is the kind of thing both hardcore tennis fans and casual gamers can get behind.
While it isn’t as realistic as Top Spin 4, Grand Slam Tennis should be a really good game.
Cyber Game Face
While I have not tried this in a game before, the idea of using Cyber Game Face to implant your face into the game via the camera attached to your console and then place that face on a created tennis star is amazing.
If this works correctly, a game that focuses so heavily on one person would be world realistic than ever.
Who wouldn’t want to play all the majors while looking like the star they are controlling?
