WWE: 5 Ways Aksana Can Revitalize the Divas Division

Teddy Long has been the general manager of Friday Night SmackDown for as long as can be remembered. Yet, under his rule, many things are left to be desired, as his brand of programming has been far less than spectacular as of late.

Even though he has gained some sort of new, courageous attitude over the last months, no one can deny that his routine booking and speeches have become tiresome. From "playah" to "hollah" to "20-man battle royal that begins right now!", every week is the same old thing.

Things were starting to get bleak until she arrived...

Aksana, the Lithuanian NXT rookie who once seduced Goldust, has begun courting Teddy Long for a purpose that has not yet been revealed. One can only speculate, but if becoming the new GM is her goal, things could be very different on the blue brand—especially for the women of the WWE.

They say behind a great man is an equally (if not greater) woman.

What kind of change would she usher in? Would the Divas benefit from the reign of the princess of Friday nights?

She Can Be Awarded a New Position

Should Aksana keep getting under the skin of Teddy Long, he could eventually replace Santino Marella with her as his new assistant and name her something like the V.P of the Divas division.

TNA has tried this angle with Karen Jarrett, but it wasn't followed properly and was dismissed altogether. WWE is smart and could go that route, and in doing so, would provide Aksana with the means to make valuable decisions in favor of the ladies, who greatly need some right now.

Guessing from her look as a dark, leather-clad Diva, Aksana could very well reveal her more dominating personality once in power and strike "fear" in the heart of the blue brand. No one, not even good old Teddy, would dare question her.

Besides Beth Phoenix and Kharma, the Divas absolutely need more imposing characters and figureheads, This Lithuanian beauty could be the one.

She Could Sign over a Huge Talent

As the new assistant general manager and later full manager, Aksana could have power to accomplish almost anything she desires.

Imagine she signs over Kharma to SmackDown once the Awesome One returns. That would tip the scales in her favor. And with this majestic Diva in her fold, no one would dare question her. Many fans would tune in to Friday nights just to see what would happen next—I know I would.

Nevermind Kharma for a second...what if someone like Lita or Madusa was introduced to you next Friday? It would be very impressive, almost unbelievable, yet, there you go, one legendary Diva made to order.

Not for nothing. All of those women have been seen or heard in the last few months. Something is going to happen with Aksana and Teddy Long soon, and it will be mostly for the benefit of one Lithuanian gal—but also for the entire Divas division.

She Could Invade Monday Night RAW

This idea here is a little far fetched, but if by some chance she does gain power and sign in someone huge like Lita, Kharma or even Madusa, what would stop her from trying to claim the crown of the red brand too?

Who is on SmackDown right now?

Alicia Fox, Tamina, Kaitlyn, A.J, Rosa Mendes, Natalya and a returning Layla. On their own, not so noticeable right now. But should they bind together, then anything is possible. Pair that with either a high-profile signing or a RAW betrayal (Beth Phoenix via Divas of Doom) and you would have a serious threat.

Didn't the WWE put back the Bragging Rights pay-per-view on the calendar? There is no point in it unless a storyline is created to serve that purpose. The roster is united once again, and despite the draft being booked in April, there is little proving things will change afterwards.

A great Divas war would definitely be something new and refreshing. There has not been something like that done in the company already, so why not give it a try?

Finally, the Divas championship would be relevant. Maybe it will be restored to its more recognizable form?

She Could Revive the Women's Championship

Amazing.

One of the best things that could happen for women in sports entertainment. The Women's championship was retired in 2010 in favor of the gaudy Divas title, and the scene has not been the same ever since.

By having Madusa return with the original ladies' gold, Aksana could overrule Beth Phoenix's claim of being the undisputed champion and ignite that Divas war mentioned earlier. There is immense potential in the division, and it is a shame WWE fails to see this after so long.

The WWE universe cares, and all you have to do is provide the right stories and the rest will write itself. Bringing back the classic Women's championship would be a step in the right direction, but only a woman in power could see this and accomplish the task.

If one woman can't cause too much ruckus, then two can bring the house down.

She Could Strike an Alliance with Another

What if Aksana accomplishes everything listed in the previous pages? Certainly a near-impossible task for one woman alone, but what if she wasn't? Who else is known to be a power-monger in WWE?

Miss WrestleMania herself, Vickie Guerrero. With all her past experience as GM and executive consultant, The Cougar could provide the means for Aksana to execute her plans flawlessly, and in doing so, could make her own respective return to power.

These two at the helm of things could cause plenty of trouble for the ladies who stand in their way, but also for all those Superstars who would dare question them. All this would propel the Divas division into the spotlight once again. Not for nothing, as they are incredibly talented and worth our attention.

A Divas war, legendary Divas returning, two women as GMs and a championship restored...can you spell main event attraction?

If the world can have women presidents, prime-ministers and queens, then WWE will be no exception.

After all this, you still think this angle is for nothing?

Aksana is seducing the SD GM because she wants something, and that could mean big changes for everybody...or maybe not. But one thing is clear, should the things listed here ever see the light day, the face of WWE would be changed for the better.

The Divas need to take control of their destiny in this company, and since brute force won't do (exception to Beth and Kharma), then perhaps a more subtle, seductive way could do it.

Men are such preys to the charms of a beautiful lady. If you don't believe that, by all means, ask Teddy Long...who is in for a rude awakening.
