WWE Smackdown Results: The Good, the Bad and the Ugly
This week, SmackDown was very enjoyable. It seems to always be the case, but this show felt better than others recently. For a grade, it would fall in the B+ range.
The Good
It was great to see Sheamus start SmackDown this week. He said he was waiting to decide his WrestleMania title match until after Elimination Chamber. Makes perfect sense to me!

Fresh Backstage WWE Rumors 👊

Modern-Day Dream Matches 💭

Most Likely Backlash Heel/Face Turns 🎭
I could have done without seeing Wade Barrett, Cody Rhodes and Big Show here, but there had to be some sort of interaction. The tag match was quickly added, so it served a purpose.
The Great Khali vs. Jinder Mahal was fine. It was nothing special, but it gave the big man a win heading into the Chamber match. That's all it needed, and yes, Khali is a future WWE Hall of Fame inductee. It's going to happen folks...
The Rock promo was excellent. That goes without saying. Anybody tired of all the hype videos for John Cena vs. The Rock better not watch WWE for another 51 days. It isn't going to stop.
I loved the segment with Natalya, Tyson Kidd and Hornswoggle. I am sure most will be upset with how Nattie and Tyson are being "used," but I'm not.
Positive thinking is a great way to live life, and you won't ever find me hop onto Twitter/Facebook every time one of my favorites isn't being "used right." Just not the way to follow WWE. It was a fun moment for the two. Hornswoggle was the star of this segment and really shined tonight.
The segment with Johnny Ace was interesting, but it was short. No big deal!
The match with Sheamus, Show, Rhodes and Barrett was acceptable. Nothing amazing happened, yet all four men had a great showing. It feels like I am repeating myself every week, but Sheamus needs to just keep winning. He did so here, pinning Wade.
I am mixed on the Michael Cole/AJ/Daniel Bryan segment. It was very intense, but I could do without the "vegan" talk every show. I get he's trying to come off as perfect (a heel), but it doesn't need to be the focus every promo.
Just Like CM Punk being straight edge, you can mention it from time to time. Not every single show!
I enjoyed the main event with Randy Orton vs. Daniel Bryan. The ending was what it was. This match probably should have been saved for a later date, but I can live with SmackDown having a big match main event here. Big Show getting involved was interesting, so we shall see what happens next week.
Now to my "it" girls!
Aksana was great backstage with Teddy Long. She has been entertaining week after week, and it has never be disappointing to watch.
Beth Phoenix defeating Alicia Fox was definitely the right move. She's going to be built up for a "dream match" with Kharma at WrestleMania and needs to keep rolling. Fox put up a nice fight, but there's no reason for Beth to lose right now. Tamina will find that out soon enough...
The Bad
I still don't care about the Ted DiBiase vs. Hunico "feud."
I am a fan of Ted. Hunico has impressed me as of late. However, these two together is doing nothing for me. It's time to move on. Give me a reason to care! Right now, I don't.
The Ugly
I liked the segment with Michael Cole earlier in the evening. However, what is he doing?
He was, once again, cast as a face. That can't happen. Cole is one of the best heel characters in the business right now. He needs to stay out of these segments if he's going to end up looking like the "good guy" in all of this.
Again, I do not like "tweeners." Keep it simple WWE. Faces are good people. Heels are bad people.
