Bulls vs. Hornets:  TV Schedule, Live Stream, Spread Info and More

Alex KayJun 2, 2018

The Chicago Bulls (21-6) are heading into New Orleans to take on the Hornets (4-21) in what looks to be a one-sided contest.

Chicago is on a three-game winning streak and haven't lost to the Hornets since 2008.

The Hornets have lost six straight and are hoping they can turn it around tonight.

What They're Saying

Teddy Greenstein over at The Chicago Tribune found that actor Will Ferrell will be doing the player introductions tonight in New Orleans.

He also got a laugh out of the Bulls coach.

As for Ferrell, coach Tom Thibodeau conceded that the actor resembles Bulls reserve Brian Scalabrine: “That’s a good point. He does.”

Jimmy Smith with The Times-Picayune is trying to find a bright spot for the Hornets. It’s a stretch, but he notes Emeka Okafor has been shooting well.

Okafor has made 104 of the 194 shots he has attempted, and although he’s averaging only 9.7 points per game, it is evident that Okafor wisely managed his lockout time by working to improve several aspects of his offensive game.

Most Important Player to Watch: Derrick Rose

If D-Rose is able to play tonight, he will be invaluable to the Bulls and almost guarantees them a win over the lowly Hornets.

The reigning MVP has improved his game in almost every aspect this season and is taking better shots, getting his teammates more involved and doing everything possible to replicate his success from last year.

Key Matchup: Point-guard play

Greivis Vasquez might be the only player who has stepped up over the past few games for New Orleans.

In his last three starts, he has averaged 16.7 points on 51.4 percent shooting and dished nearly eight assists.

It’ll be tough to keep that up against Rose, if he plays.
