Tim Tebow Hannah Storm Interview: Tebow Is This Generation's Brett Favre
Just like Brett Favre before him, Tebow has become one of the biggest stars in the NFL because of his willingness and ability to be approachable. He is a normal guy.
While many fans condemned Favre for the way his career ended, you can’t ignore the years of unquestioned service he had and his sheer giddiness towards the game. It always felt like Favre knew it was just for fun, which is how Tebow plays as well.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
They are perceived differently in the public's eye, but they both invoke the same emotions in all kinds of people. While Favre’s accessibility was geared towards small-town folks that were looking at the future Hall of Fame QB as inspiration to make it big, Tebow has found his niche audience with the religious.
Both groups of people are salt-of-the-earth type folks that look to these men as an inspiration to make it in life. If those two guys could make it big coming from a small town and being very religious, they can too.
It’s more than that, though. It’s the work ethic.
Favre was always known as a jokester (just like Tebow), but when the time was right, there wasn’t a more serious player on the field. While the latter years were marred by controversy after controversy, let’s not forget just how hard Favre had to work to get to that Hall of Fame-worthy level.
Tebow has done nothing but work hard since he was a kid.
With Tebow embodying the role of a blue-collar player, this is the kind of person that fans want their kids to idolize. Believe it or not, that was also the perception of Favre for a long time.
While their play on the field is much different, they both have the ability to rally their team and bring them back from almost certain defeat. Tebow did it many times this season and over the course of his career at Florida, but Favre did it for 20 years straight.
The duo may not be the same man on a morality level, but as athletes, they are both the embodiment of what teams want from a quarterback and what people want from the face of a franchise.
Fans want a guy they could imagine themselves sitting next to in a restaurant and talking sports; that was Favre and is Tebow.
