New York Giants Parade 2012: Last-Minute Info on 2-State Celebration
The New York preceding the Giants moniker is a tad misleading, because they are more than just a New York sports team. That is exactly what will be the theme of Tuesday's Super Bowl parade.
The team will make their way from New York City to their home in New Jersey at MetLife Stadium in what will be a full day of football fun and frivolity.

When: Tuesday, Feb. 7 at 11:00 a.m. ET

Michael Eisen, writing for the official website of The New York Giants, reports the parade will start off with a ticker-tape parade that will lend a classic feel to the latest triumph in New York sports.
The ceremony will culminate the New York portion at City Hall Plaza, where Mayor Michael Bloomberg will present the Giants with keys to the city.
At that point, the players, coaches and staff will board buses for the trek towards New Jersey. MetLife Stadium is more than just a Sunday home for the Giants, it's a sign that the state of New Jersey has an official stake in this glorious team and the state's fanbase will no doubt be well represented.
New Jersey Governor Chris Christie will be at MetLife Stadium to help bring the G-Men home in the only way fitting, a two-state, all day celebration.
This may even be more special than the parade that took place four years ago. This time around was far more unexpected, as the Giants were one of the bigger underdogs coming into the postseason.
Each win saw an increase in anticipation. By the time the Giants entered the big game, the whole city was about to burst.
This will be a grandiose celebration in which an underdog finally gets the spotlight they deserve, in a two-state parade that is well deserved. As we all know, the Giants are far more than just New York.
