WWE Raw Preview: What Will Happen to John Laurinaitis Tonight?

Last week on Raw, we were expecting to see John Laurinaitis either keep his job or get fired by Triple H. Just when Triple H was about to wish Laurinaitis luck in his future endeavors, he was interrupted by The Undertaker.

While this created a great moment to cap off an amazing Raw it also pushed the Laurinaitis situation through to this week.

Tonight you can rest assured that one way or the other we will find out what his fate will be. If WWE decides to go with Triple H vs Undertaker 3 for WrestleMania then we could see JL keep his job.

Triple H has made it clear that the general manager is not supposed to be involved in matches. If he is coaxed into fighting Taker again then he may keep JL in his current position.

The other direction WWE could take this is firing JL and having him pursue some kind of vendetta against Triple H.

When John Laurinaitis was first put in front of the camera, he was met with great criticism. He was viewed as nervous, robot-like and emotionless.

Over the last couple months he has really grown into his character. His dry delivery combined with a few notable humorous moments have carved out a fanbase for him.

I have become a fan of Laurinaitis for a couple reasons. But what mostly did it for me was when he looked right into the camera and wished John Morrison the best in his future endeavors.

The delivery was great and it was totally unexpected. It made me think there was more to him than simply being a Marty Funkhauser impersonator.

I hope JL is kept as the GM for the time being because I think he has matured into a more believable heel and has potential to be even better.

The strange thing to me is that SmackDown featured a few segments where people were acting as if JL was fired on Raw. But with the segment being cut short by Taker, we were left without a clear answer.
