Super Bowl Halftime Show 2012: Madonna Will Fail at Entertaining Football Fans
Madonna will certainly be one of the worst halftime Super Bowl acts of all-time.
At one point, sure she would have been an incredible act. In fact, she would have been one of the best. When was the last time Madonna was relevant though? 1993? Maybe...
To be very frank, the better question is: When was the last time Madonna was relevant to football fans?

Never.
If you're trying to sell me on the fact that your average American football fan—who would much rather diagnose the 3-4 defense while drinking a cold beer mind you-will enjoy this halftime show, you are simply out of your mind.
Just check out this opening sentence from the popular celebrity blog What Would Tyler Durden Do? regarding Madonna doing the halftime show at the Super Bowl:
"Apparently we’re really doing this and Madonna, who is 53 and only liked by middle-aged women and drag queens, will be performing at the Super Bowl on Sunday.
"
If the celebrity blog doesn't even want to see Madonna, how are we supposed to expect football fans to enjoy her?
I understood The Rolling Stones a few years ago, considering they are one of the greatest and most iconic rock bands of all-time.
Heck, I could even see what they were trying to accomplish having The Black Eyed Peas preform last year, because a the very least they have some catchy tunes.
But Madonna? Literally, there is no way that I can support, endorse or even defend this move.
It's going to be a train wreck.
Come to think of it, that may be more entertaining than watching her actual performance.
