Super Bowl 2012 Online: Live Streaming Further Enhances Championship Experience
No event unites America like the Super Bowl.
There isn’t a single date on the calendar like it. And while it would seem difficult for a die-hard football fan’s favorite holiday to get any better, NBC Sports pulled it off.
Driving to Best Buy and renting a big-screen television is no longer your only option to watch the nation’s greatest athletic event. For the first time in Super Bowl history, fans will be able to watch Sunday’s showdown live on their laptops at NBCSports.com. Not only that, they can just as easily pull out their cell phones and get on NFL Mobile to watch Tom Brady and Eli Manning face off.

The best way to describe the NBC online experience is that they pimped out their viewers’ Super Bowl broadcast.
Not a fan of the camera angle NBC offers on TV? Online gives you four other camera options to choose from.
Bored of the game altogether? You have an option to watch the real reason why over 100 million people are drawn in instead—the commercials.
Of course, it takes an effort to get bored when Mike Florio and Jimmy Fallon’s Twitter feeds are updating on the right of the screen. If you are baffled by an on-field call, there’s even an Ask Florio button.
And forget the need to keep shifting your eyes from your laptop to the television as you keep track of Wes Welker's and Victor Cruz’s numbers. Statistics are also a part of NBC’s pimped out experience.
Again, if you didn’t go the Best Buy-route, NBC online is the best way to watch Super Bowl XLVI.
