Super Bowl National Anthem 2012: Kelly Clarkson Kills It with Quick Rendition
This just in: Kelly Clarkson is not, in fact, Christina Aguilera, and vice versa.
The former American Idol champion and two-time Grammy Award winner was pitch perfect belting out the national anthem before kickoff at Super Bowl XLVI.
No words skipped. No notes missed. No wardrobe malfunctions. No dillying or dallying.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Just Clarkson's pipes, backed up by a choir of adorable children on the field at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.
In a shade under 1:35, Clarkson worked her way through Francis Scott Key's classic, perhaps better than anyone ever has prior to the NFL's title game.
Say what you want about Clarkson's bangs or the red, bejeweled microphone or even her weight (if that's really of any concern to you).
But, dang, did she make Christina Aguilera, last year's butcher of "The Star-Spangled Banner," look like an absolute lightweight on the mic.
Whether she ever ends up rockin' out with Chris Berman, Andrew Zimmern and James Lipton in a Toyota Camry ever again remains to be seen, though her performance on Sunday should lend her more than enough cred to promote just about any product she pleases.
One can only hope the actual game between the New England Patriots and the New York Giants will be able to live up to Clarkson's stunning introduction, though, if their meeting in Super Bowl XLII is any indication, it certainly should.
